MY PERFUMES mpf MR. Eau De Parfum is a room filler monster, The moment someone opens the door to enter they can easily and clearly smell it, it lingers for long. It is powdery and sweet but has enough warmth from the spices that it’s not “too sweet” for a man. The resins add just enough of a woody quality to balance it all out. Every time you wear this you are in a good mood because it’s so comforting and you get whiffs of it for hours without having to sniff your wrist very often, it’s very enveloping. In the top notes you get mostly a high quality, powdery and rich iris which blends seamlessly into the clove note which you might have not expierenced before in designer fragrances as it is something niche brands specialize in. Accompanying this unique blend is a mature lavender and soft clean bergamot backed up with soft pepper, The dry down approaches your skin after a little while and it is hard for you to decide whether you like the opening or dry down more. The ambery balsams move in while the powdery iris-clove note quiets down and of course the bergamot and pepper are non existent by this stage. Accompanying this amber-balsamic note is a velvety and milky vanilla that you will absolutely adore. In addition to these main players of the dry down there is some tonka bean and a gorgeous but soft-spoken patchouli. MY PERFUMES mpf MR. Eau De Parfum is unique but not in an attention seeking way, although it does have quite beastly performance, particularly projection! Very classy and mature.
